Isaac Castor is a freshman at Saline High School and is very involved in the music world. Rather than playing in band or orchestra, Castor’s musical talent is focused on hip hop. In the hip hop world, Castor is known as Gameboi.

Because Gameboi has been able to capitalize on his talent at such a young age, he has the dual burden of dealing with his professional responsibilities as well as his teenage ones.

Being involved in hip hop has become a big part of his life, but it can be a distraction from the real world, “It’s hard to focus on school when I have a show one night, and a test the next [morning].”  Working in school remains a priority for Gameboi as he balances both worlds.

Music is a career Gameboi plans to pursue in the future.
