How to Bake Cookies

The first thing you must do is preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

The second thing that you need to do is gather all of the ingrediants. You will need 2&1/4 cup of flour, 3/4 cup of granulated sugar, 3/4 cup of brown sugar, 1 tsp of salt, 1 tsp of baking soda, 1 tsp of vanilla, 2 sticks of butter, 2 eggs and 1 bag of chocolate chips.

Mix the flour, baking soda and salt together in a bowl. Mix the butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar and vanilla in the mixer, when smoothe add the egg.

Gradually add the dry mix–flour, salt and baking soda– into the mixer.

Most importantly, mix in the chocolate chips. Do not use an electric mixer because it will crush the chocolate chips.

Use a spoon and your hands to form the cookies and place them onto a cookie sheet. For regular sized cookie sheets you will place them  thre3e wide and four deep.

Place the cookies into the oven on the middle rack. They should bake for about eight minutes, or when the edges of the cookies are a light golden brown.
