“We were watching this science documentary because I have an independant study where we watch science documentaries. So in it, this dog gets attacked by this toad and the dog dies, which was really dramatic. The dog was on it’s death bed and it was so sad. So I was on the ground crying and I didn’t have my spork because I was very distressed. Then Colleen runs over to me and I just feel this sharp poke on my back, and in that moment I knew it was all over. I was devastated. It was the worst thing that has ever happened to me.”
