“I care about taking the best advantage of the things I have offered to me… especially the resources my dad and my parents give me. They were a lot different. They had fewer experiences than I did and I try to see that. The possibilities I have compared to my parents are endless. I have five passports, I can pretty much work anywhere in the world, and I want to show my parents that I respect what they did because they left Brazil to have a better life for us. They left all their friends behind for working in better conditions, and I’m very fortunate to actually see how much they have done for me. I want to give back to them by doing as best as possible by the school curriculum, getting good grades, and progressing through life.”
