“This picture is of me and my childhood best friend going to the Pioneer Fair together. She moved away a few years ago, and I don’t really see her that much anymore. But when I do, it’s really special. This picture really encapsulates that because we were girls together. I love the sort of childish festivity around festivals and just carnivals in general. So I felt a really strong connection with this picture.”
