Gwen Galvin and Neil Carlin eat pizza after CET’s last performance of “Curtains.” Galvin expressed both joy and sadness as her time with CET has come to an end. “It makes me sad that I didn’t get to live in Ann Arbor for my entire life,” Galvin said. “But I’m really, really lucky to have the time that I did get, and those four shows are gonna mean the absolute world to me for the rest of my life.”

Junior Emily Walker interviews Starbucks employee Brady Groesbeck about the new spring drinks. She had already taken pictures of the space and ordered a Lavender Cream Oatmilk Matcha Latte. “Brady Groesbeck mentioned how that drink is a spring favorite so I thought I would try it out,” said Emily.

Joseph Kim sits in Laurels room for his Spanish 2 class. While Kim attends Pioneer high school, he takes Jazz 2 and several other classes at Community High School. "It was kind of inconvenient to just go back and fourth," said Kim. "I decided to take some classes here and that was Spanish 2."

Cast members in CHS’ production of Curtains pose dramatically during one of their numbers. Isla Tharp especially loved performing this number. “I love this particular song because it’s so dramatic and over the top, and it really gives a lot of room to have fun with the character," Tharp said. “Everyone brought their own twist to their reactions, and it just makes the scene so much fun.”

Nina Beals is Randy Dexter in CET's production of "Curtains." There wasn't a minute where she didn't love being on stage with her fellow comedic actors. "That photo was taken during the opening act of the show," Beals said. "It's one of my favorite parts of the show because we get to be over the top with that nature/style of theater. Our show has been really funny, and getting to work with Toula, Milly and Ionie has been so silly and rewarding."

Mia Rubenstein is a junior at Community, and this is her second year on staff. Outside of school, she can be found doing homework, hanging out with friends, participating in CET and baking banana bread. She is looking forward to working with the new staff members as a New Staff Mentor this year.
