Veronica Herrold competes in the balloon event on Fall Field Day. Herrold and her friend Annette Dobson had the time of their lives as they tried to not let the balloon slip during a true forum bonding moment. “It was just really fun to bond with everyone and actually see them participate,” Herrold said. “I’m pretty sure our fourm got second to last place, but at least we didn’t lose!”

"Today was definitely up there with some of the better Silvester forum days," Ionides said. "I hope we come back here some time in the future."

Kaylee Gadepalli holds up a cheesesteak too big for her mouth in the restaurant Cleavers. For the past few weeks Gadepalli has been prepping meticulously and coordinating everything for the mock trial trip to Philadelphia. "After all of the planning and prepping it felt surreal to be in Philadelphia," Gadepalli said. "I was relieved that the restaurants worked for everyone and that we all made our flights okay to Philadelphia."

Sadie Jacobson and Ani Ledbetter compare their decorated earbud strings on the sidewalk near Kerrytown. Ledbetter had been sitting with some friends when Jacobson arrived, and the pair quickly realized that they were matching. "I just recently lost my earbuds, actually," Ledbetter said. "But then I found them, so it's all good."

Rose Hood, Tessa Aprea, and Jules Pashturro sit at the third floor tables while trying to work out a problem in Aprea's Algebra 2 notebook. They often find themselves stuck, so working through the problems together is helpful. "Being able to work through the questions with my friends helps so much," Aprea says. "It helps me better understand the questions."
