Julianne Heller, a member of CHS’s choir club, sits and chats with a friend, waiting for the club to start. The club met in Craft Theater that day, to sing with a piano and sheet music. “Choir Club as been such an amazing experience so far,” Heller said. “I’ve met so many great singers. Being able to sing fun songs with this group has really made me feel more interested in singing and choir outside of school and musicals.”

They didn't plan to coordinate outfits, but it just so happened that all three teammates got similar suits for the mock trial competition. "It was a crazy coincidence," Ledbetter said. "We were all matching which was really fun."

"Today was definitely up there with some of the better Silvester forum days," Ionides said. "I hope we come back here some time in the future."

Kaylee Gadepalli holds up a cheesesteak too big for her mouth in the restaurant Cleavers. For the past few weeks Gadepalli has been prepping meticulously and coordinating everything for the mock trial trip to Philadelphia. "After all of the planning and prepping it felt surreal to be in Philadelphia," Gadepalli said. "I was relieved that the restaurants worked for everyone and that we all made our flights okay to Philadelphia."

Sadie Jacobson and Ani Ledbetter compare their decorated earbud strings on the sidewalk near Kerrytown. Ledbetter had been sitting with some friends when Jacobson arrived, and the pair quickly realized that they were matching. "I just recently lost my earbuds, actually," Ledbetter said. "But then I found them, so it's all good."
