Your choices carry throughout episodes, so if you make someone mad in previous episode, they could come back later, wanting their revenge. This game focuses a lot on the story, which is great, and decisions come at such a fast pace that there is no time to think things through. “Uncharted 2” provides a video game experience that only an Indiana Jones movie could give. Nathan Drake, the main protagonist in the game, is on the hunt for an ancient treasure buried deep within the Himalayan Mountains. This is action movie in video game form, with levels that could have came out of a summer blockbuster. The game has amazing graphics and set pieces that can take anyone’s breath away. “Uncharted 2” doesn’t let up, including a mission dealing with a helicopter chasing you while you’re on a train filled with soldiers all gunning for you as you try to make to the front. “Uncharted 2” is a terrific game for anyone that wants to be Indiana Jones with better hair.

“Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain” could be considered the best game to come out this year so far. In this game, Military Legend Big Boss wakes up from a nine year coma to find a private army in disarray from the evil terrorist Skull Face. Now, Big Boss must rebuild his army and takedown Skull Face for good. This game is visually flawless, created by a game engine called the Fox Engine. Players are able to take down enemy bases any way they want. An interesting feature in the game is that it evolves to your play style; if you do missions mostly at night, guards will equip night vision goggles to spot you better; if you master headshots, they wear helmets. “Metal Gear Solid” allows the player to become a military legend.

Have your ever watched any Post-Apocalyptic movie, and wondered what it would be like to be that in situation? “Fallout 3” takes you to Washington D.C. after a nuclear war has devastated the United States. You play as The Vault Dweller, a character who has lived in a nuclear fallout shelter all his life. But when the player’s father leaves home for no reason, it’s up to you to find him in the Capital Wasteland. Similar to games like “Skyrim” and “The Walking Dead,” you can create your character and make choices that affect the story. The game is endless and it’s open to explore, from cities built in naval ships, to towns built around nuclear bombs. Your choices can affect the wasteland from helping a town disarm a nuclear bomb or blow it up for a cash reward. The combat is endless, from fighting raiders and creatures with guns and knives or just simply blowing them away with a missile launcher that shoots nuclear bombs. Playing “Fallout 3” is an experience that radiates with fun.

In a game that combines Star Wars, Star Trek and BattleStar Galactica into one, “Mass Effect” is perfect game for any sci fi fan. You play as Commander Shepard, a space cop who is tasked to save the universe from an evil alien race called the Reapers. You assemble a team of Mercenaries to help you fight off this alien threat. This game is big one player choice and character interaction. The characters all have their very own motivations and dreams; this adds a sense of realism to the game and you find yourself rooting for some of them throughout the game. The player’s choices have a huge impact in the game and can change missions and hurt or help relationships with other characters. You play as Joel Smuggler living in safe zone in Boston as the world plague with a deadly virus. Joel Smuggler, a man living in Boston is given a job to transport a 14-year-old girl named Ellie across the country to a band of rebels. Their story is one hardship, loss and friendship. The gameplay has a very intense vibe, as you battle your way through infected that can kill you in one hit and bandits that will attack for your supplies. Combat is tense where running out of ammo is the stand between life or death. You have to use sticks, baseball bats and bottles to make your way through this chaotic land that once was the United States.

Time to get bubbly in this underwater adventure game. In this game, you are trapped in an underwater utopia gone bad, as the population has genetically modified themselves into mutants. You must be able to hide or fight for your life against huge hulking beasts wearing diving suits that patrol the streets, protecting little girls, that have the ability to grant the player more powers. This game plays as a tight shooting game where you must use powers and weapons to survive the madness all around you. The story one to experience by itself, with a twist that will leave players’ jaws on the floor. A huge recommendation for anyone who is a fan of video games or great story telling.
