Ann Arbor Dance Classics Redesigns Their Routine
An Ann Arbor Dance Classics Performance
For majority of there time as a studio, Ann Arbor Dance Classics has done the Nutcracker. A beloved Holiday Classic with music written by Tchaikovsky that is performed all over the world during the Holiday season. This year however, the studio decided to take a different approach. Calling the show “The Spirit of the Season” and choreographing dances to classic and festive christmas music.
The show depicts a young girl (played by Lila Ryan, a 7th grader at Clague middle school) who writes Santa Claus a very touching letter, and results in him deciding to take her on a magical journey to the north pole. From a giant train a la the polar express, to hysterically funny Christmas elves, the show brings something new and exciting to get you in the holiday spirit.
The performances will be at Milan High School on Saturday, Dec. 9 at 2:00 and Sunday, Dec. 10 at 2:00.
