Recently I’ve been having morning practices for Pioneer soccer at 5:45 in the morning and I still have club [soccer] on some days after school. Last weekend I had a showcase for colleges, so college recruits can come and watch your team play or just you play, to see if they want you to come play for them or come to their camps. They can verbally recruit you, which means they can literally just ask you. We play against other teams who are in a hard division so a lot of them are better than us which is challenging and when colleges come it is more stressful. I have done seven or eight showcases before and a lot of them have been in North Carolina or Florida or Indianapolis. We have them in Michigan too. It would be a dream to play soccer in college but it is so hard to play D1 because there are so many good soccer players out there.
