“[The move to Boston] was a 13-hour drive and my dad was in a U-Haul truck separate from me, my mom, and my sister in a little Pontiac Vibe which is not suitable for that kind of driving. I also remember my mom go really road sick. I think we had just passed the Michigan border and my mom threw up into a trash bag but, the problem was the trash bag was broken so the situation just got so much worse and when I was seven I had a fear of throwing up for some reason so it was like the worst experience I’ve had in a long time. We had to pull over and my mom just chucked the bag on the side of the road.”
