Humans of Ann Arbor

“I took an anthropology class freshman year, as a way to just try something I’d never learned about before. I’d never even heard of  it – but now I’m majoring in it. I’m pre-med, but I feel like it’s so important to learn about people, and be able to make those connections. I want to go into primary care, and become a refugee doctor abroad. This summer will be my first time abroad; I’m going abroad to Greece to study anthropology of cooking. I’m excited to expose myself to a new culture, and eating sounded like a pretty good way to earn credits.”
