“I’m a stay at home dad so my wife [supports me]. She is the primary wage earner for our family. So my oldest son really has [my] back because he helps out so much with David, who has autism, and he’s got a lot of communication problems, like a speech delay. [He] helps setting up an environment for him, and just making things for him, [like these] little pictures that help him talk. They’re like these little laminated pictures that [David] gives to us that help him speak. That’s the two people that have my back.”

I also forgot to mention my precious daughter, who also “has my back.” She is also crucial in helping with David. She helps him get ready for bed, and is the first one to run to the school door to pick him up after school.
