“I’m looking forward to the Kerrytown district growing more as a community and seeing what happens this year, all the changes that are coming up. There are businesses that are starting to close down, there are some new businesses that are going to be opening up, I know that there’s talk of building new condos in the area, low income housing and things like that. I’m just excited to see what changes are coming for us. My favorite thing about my job is getting to see all of the new stuff that we get in here, but also seeing all of the people who come in regularly and are coming in from out of town. I’ve been working in Kerrytown since the week after I moved here from California, so it has been about seven or eight years now. I love it.”

Lily Sickman-Garner, Social Media Editor-in-Chief
Lily is a senior at Community and this is her fifth semester on staff. This year, she is also one of the Social Media Editors-in-Chief. When she’s not at The Communicator she can be found at CET rehearsals, listening to music, reading or practicing cello, and she loves chocolate and being outside.
Jada Hikary, Journalist
Jada is a senior at Community this year. She's been writing ever since joining the Communicator her sophomore year, although she took a one year hiatus for a different school's publication when she lived in Palmdale, California during her junior year. When she's not making coffees and sandwiches at Zingerman's Roadhouse, she's either reading, going out to eat, running, or playing with her chocolate Labrador, Gizmo.
