“The Orphan Master’s Son is my favorite book by far. It was super interesting. It’s about what life was like in North Korea in the 1950s. It was really interesting to hear about that and get that perspective. It’s from the perspective of someone who lives in North Korea so it was really interesting to see what his perspective on North Korea was. He went to America and they were telling him how North Korea didn’t win the war and then how North Korea turned all the lights off at 8pm and how that was just normal. It was just crazy to me how different life is there.”
