“Over the summer I went to Interlochen for the Pioneer choir. That was an awesome experience because the choir directors are really competent and we learned a lot in a very short amount of time. It was a good bonding experience because you were in a cabin with a dozen other girls. I don’t usually go to summer camps, so it was nice to get out of the house, and also to have the experience of staying overnight somewhere. It was kind of like my introduction to the high school climate. I went to a Catholic school and I was pretty sheltered. I was weird. I got culture shock from my own culture haha.”
