“I’ve been playing guitar on and off since I was around 5 or 6 years old — I have an acoustic and electric [guitar]. I like doing both covers and writing my own stuff. I don’t think it’s super good but it’s fun. I don’t remember exactly when, [I started writing music] I just always had the drive to write poetry or stories or songs, and do a lot of creative writing. When I was younger, I didn’t really go to school so I went to this homeschool group and I was in a theater class and I wrote a whole play for the class and it actually ended up being performed, it was a very interesting experience for me as a nine-year-old. I was like, “wow! I like doing this!” So it’s always something I’ve enjoyed doing.”
