“This Saturday, we’re going to march for reproductive rights. It’ll be me, my mom, my mom’s best friend and her two kids. It’s through an organization called ‘Women’s March.’ I think their goal is to have a march in every state on October 2nd. There is a big one in D.C. and I think they’re going to have one in Ann Arbor as well. My mom and her best friend worked at Planned Parenthood for a while and we are pro-choice and want to stand up for those who should have the right to choose. The main cause of the protest is because of the abortion bans going on in Texas.”

After school, you can find her objecting in mock trial or drinking a surplus of chai. Her favorite part of journalism is talking about issues that don't get enough attention and advocating for the rights of immigrants and women of color.
