Picture This: Emmy Wernimont
“This is a picture of me from last spring break. We drove to Virginia and we rented a house so we wouldn’t have to interact with anyone and be exposed to Covid. It was really nice to be able to unplug and get outside after a year of sitting in my room looking at a screen. I was standing on McAfee Knob along the Appalachian Trail and one of my family members took this picture of me. It felt incredible to finally reach the viewpoint after a couple of hours of hiking. It was beautiful standing out on the overhang, seeing the mountains and listening to the quiet.”
