“I look up to my mom. I really love her, she’s great. She’s a strong woman who has been through a lot in her life. She has persevered and become an amazing person. She inspires me because she moved here when she was really young and she was an immigrant — she had to move around a lot. She inspires me by being so persevering through those hard times when she couldn’t do certain things. My favorite memory was with me, her and my sister. We went to Venice, Italy together which was really fun. It was special because usually my dad directs around places, but we had to figure it out. And so it was like our first mother-daughter trip.”

Reagan Masek is a senior entering her fourth year on The Communicator staff and her third year as an EIC of the Midnight Sun. Outside the walls of Community High, you can find her out with her camera or playing lacrosse. She loves to go on drives and walks and you can always find her listening to music. She loves writing, photography and In-Design. She is super excited for another semester on staff and can’t wait to see what her final year at Community High holds!
