Turning Point: Lewis Perry
My dad and I reached the summit after four different lift transfers. Excited for our route down, we struck reality at the peak. Frigid, snow-piercing wind thrashed into us as we traversed through the white void. We noticed another ski group in the distance, but before catching up to them, they disappeared from our sight. Alone we stood, unable to see more than a mere couple of feet in front of us. The loose, waist-high powder whipped through our skis as we slowly rode down, praying to reach the bottom safely.
