Picture This: Jonah Makman-Levinson
“I broke my phone a couple days ago so one of the only photos I have is this picture of an English assignment. [The picture] is of a paper from when we went into groups to [act] out scenes from Romeo and Juliet; I acted out the character, Mercutio. This was in [Mike] Vial’s English class. Two classes I have liked this year have been Vial’s Intro to Literature class and History with Joslyn [Hunscher-Young]. History is cool because I have a lot of friends in the class and I like English because I enjoy Vial’s teaching.”

Kurt is a senior at Community and is entering his third year on staff, his first as the Sports Editor. His favorite part about journalism is writing about high school sports in the Ann Arbor community and being able to hear people's stories. When he's not writing he is playing football as a captain of the Ann Arbor Pioneer Varsity Football team, spending time outdoors with his friends, exercising, or working his part-time job at Stadium Hardware.
