“I enjoy multiple different styles of dance. So tap, for example, you’re making a lot of sound. It all has to be really precise because if you mess up even the slightest bit with your foot, it makes a different sound and then you’re out of sync with everyone. I enjoy the challenge. Jazz is kind of flowy but not like ballet. It’s kind of like musical theater style. I mean, musical theater is its own style. That’s because you’re making your face really expressive and there’s a lot more walking than dancing. And then contemporary you’re kind of all over the place: on the floor, off the floor, doing everything. You get to push your body to limits you didn’t know existed, which is really cool.”
