“I play soccer for a club called the Michigan Hawks, based in Livonia. Our club is female led and it’s all girls. I believe that’s pretty cool because not a lot of clubs are. Most teams have a boys and a girls side, but ours is just focused on females, which I mean, it’s pretty empowering and we get to help coach younger girls and see them develop and it’s just a really cool thing. It’s my last season playing and the next games that we have are pretty important for the playoffs. I’m not sure if we’ll end up going but I would really just like to end on a good note and do well in our last conference games and kind of just enjoy my last season. It’s kind of a lot to juggle with schoolwork and soccer and all of that and it’s super time consuming, but I think it will be okay. We’ll get through it.”
