“I’m most connected to my mom. She’s a role model in my life and she’s the one I look up to and inspire to be in both my career and personal life. She used to be a dental assistant, but before that she worked at the city of Oak Park as an administrative officer. Back when she was a city rep, she hadn’t finished college and she realized she was tired of it, so she went back to college and worked hard and got her bachelor’s degree. She’s just such a hard worker and I feel like all that hard work really is inspiring. I also think it’s rubbing off on me.”
