Restaurant Review: Cannelle

Restaurant Review: Cannelle
Stephanie Hadley

Cannelle by Matt Knio is a French bakery with four Michigan locations, one of which is located on E Washington St. in Ann Arbor — just down the street from CHS. The cafe not only offers French baked goods and pastries but also breakfast items, sandwiches, salads and a variety of drinks.

Staff journalist Stephanie Hadley decided on a Strawberry Cream Filled Croissant and an Iced Vanilla Latte.

The Strawberry Cream Filled Croissant was delicious and unique! It has a typical flaky croissant crust, but the center is filled with a flavorful strawberry cream.

The Iced Vanilla Latte was good. This drink has a strong coffee flavor, with a touch of vanilla syrup that balances out the bitterness.

This cafe has many food options as well as lots of seating and is the perfect place to get a sweet treat and study after class!
