Bringing the Fun Before Break

Bringing the Fun Before Break
Payton Sly

On Dec. 19, “Once in a Lifetime” by Talking Heads rang through the halls of CHS, commencing a week full of music trivia for students and staff.

These small breaks of fun are led by Brian Williams and Dean Rebecca.

“We’re not used to using or hearing the overhead things [intercoms] in general,” Williams said. “And I think we’re just trying to have fun and lighten up a little bit.”

The songs were chosen by a select group of people, who each threw their own ideas into the mix.

The first winner of the week was Liz Stern, who was ecstatic about her victory and made it known to all as she leapt through the halls in joy.

“I saw the Talking Heads when I was in France,” Stern said. “In one of their ancient auditoriums.”

Stern has been a long time fan of Taking Heads, her favorite song being Pyschokiller.

“Psychokiller was actually my wedding song,” Stern said.
