The sound of chatter and music can be heard coming from room 111. It’s Tuesday and the Outdoors club is having their weekly meeting. This new club was created with the purpose of creating an environment for students who enjoy being outdoors and enjoy making new friendships.
“The outdoors is an amazing thing and we take it for granted,” Co-President Sebastian Berenfeld said. “I love the environment, and I want to implement it into having fun, and not just a science thing.”
With 30 official members, Outdoors Club has already started to cultivate an exciting environment. Member Kinga Jung is excited to participate.
“I joined Outdoors Club because I thought it would be a super awesome opportunity to be in nature,” Jung said. “And to spend time outside and maybe volunteer.”
