On Sept. 21, students filed into the Craft Theater for one of the most attended college visits of the year: a visit from the University of Michigan (UM). With campus located less than a mile from CHS, UM attracts a significant number of graduates – over 10 percent of last year’s seniors now attend the University.
“Both my parents went to UM and it would mean a lot to my family to stay connected to the school that we’ve been a part of for a while and same for me,” senior Jaye Robbins-Oliver said. “[UM] feels like a community that I’ve been in forever, so I would love to continue to be part of it.”
College visits are a key first step in determining which schools are right for you and discovering what it will take to get there. In the coming weeks, representatives from dozens of other institutions will visit CHS. You can find a schedule with the times and dates of all upcoming college visits linked in the Forum Bulletin.
