The first full week of semester two begins tomorrow! Study station will continue to take place on Mondays and Wednesdays (except for this Wednesday due to an early release day) during seventh block in the library.
Also taking place this Monday is Michigan’s only Gap Year Fair, an opportunity to learn more about post-high school possibilities and programs including travel, language learning, volunteering or earning money to fund an eventual college degree. The event will be held at Huron High School and doors open at 6 p.m..
On Tuesday during lunch and at 2 p.m. in Craft, guest science teacher Rebecca will share her experience and findings from collaborations with multiple Indigenous communities of the Amazon Rainforest; Wednesday will be an early release day and a Friday schedule, with seventh block ending at 11:25 a.m.; Thursday brings the semester 2 drop/add deadline, so be sure finalize your schedule by then; and finally, Friday will be a Wednesday schedule to compensate for the prior early release day.
Additionally, sporks for the student-run senior spork game will go on sale at lunch on Monday for $10.
