Every year, CHS sophomore Ellena Biermann’s family goes to Colorado just after Christmas for their annual ski trip.
“My mom took this picture when I was at Copper Mountain in Colorado standing with my family,” Biermann said. “We have done this trip since I was one year old and it’s just nice to have a vacation where I spend a lot of time with my family every year and I get to go skiing.”
Biermann especially enjoys seeing and spending time with her extended family – whom she doesn’t see very often – during this time of year.
“I’m just really grateful that I have this opportunity to spend time skiing outside and seeing beautiful sights each year,” Biermann said. “And I’m so happy that I get to see my family that doesn’t live near me.”
