CET’s Latest Show

CETs+Latest+Show
Morgan McClease

CET is performing their musical in just a couple of weeks! Created by Dave Malloy, “Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812” is a musical adaptation of the book “War and Peace” by Leo Tolstoy. The musical’s uniqueness shines through its unconventional orchestration and it is completely sung through.

The production is directed thoughtfully by Emily Wilson-Tobin. The music direction is from Brian Rose, and the show was choreographed by Sophia Daly. More behind-the-scenes shoutouts include CET’s wonderful crew, including sets, props, lights, costumes, sound, and board, without whom the show would be impossible.

The talented cast stars students from all over the AAPS district, and is underscored by a live pit orchestra. The fast-paced show is filled with dramatic musical numbers, soul-searching solos, and chaotic dance scenes alike.

Opening night is Friday, March 1, and the show runs on selected days through Sunday, March 10.

Tickets are now on sale for $10 for in-school students, $15 for students and seniors, and $20 for adults.
