Fashion Friday: Kinga Jung

Fashion+Friday%3A+Kinga+Jung

Bringing back #FashionFriday! This week features CHS junior, Kinga Jung.

Her outfit is head-to-toe thrifted clothing with a vintage spin to it. The Dr. Martens came from her mom’s friend who originally wore them in the ‘80s when she went to Community.

Thrifting is a big part of Jung’s life. She uses the activity to hang out with friends while also curating meaningful pieces to her collection.
“I think it’s just a really cool way to find unique pieces of clothing,” Jung said. “ I started going with my friends a lot over the summer and then I kind of just never stopped.”

Jung has many inspirations, the main one being Pinterest. In this particular outfit, she took influence from Enya Umanzor, an internet celebrity who is known for her unique fashion style.

“I really love the way that she dresses,” Jung said. “I think I took a lot of inspiration in this outfit by it being a little basic but still fun.”

Accessorizing is also another element in her fashion curation. Using belts and jewelry, this adds on toan already great outfit. Jung’s pieces have sentimental value. One of them being the sun necklace (pictured above) Jung received 2 years ago and has been through wear and tear.

“I wore it every day until it broke, but then I super glued it because it means a lot to me,” Jung said. “It’s simple, but it levels the outfit up and kind of catches your eye.”
