Just past 7 a.m. on April 3, two buses with over 60 students and chaperones pulled out of the CHS parking lot and began the journey to Only, Tennessee.

After two stops for food, the group arrived at Victor Wooten’s Center for Music and Nature.
The next few days were a whirlwind of learning and fun.
Students attended a variety of classes, played plenty of music, connected with nature and spent time with friends, new and old. Toula Greenawalt, a freshman vocalist and saxophone player in Jazz 1 had an amazing time.
“It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience,” Greenawalt said.
“They really focused on the connections between music and nature and how we can incorporate both into our lives.”
