The Week Ahead – 5/20 to 5/24

Well seniors, you’ve made it! The last day of school for seniors is Friday, which, per tradition, is CHS’s annual spring field day. All forums will gather for a day of competition and fun at Delhi Park repping their custom forum shirts.

On Monday, the final edition of The Communicator will be distributed between blocks one and three. Stop by room 300 or find a Communicator staff member in the hall to get your copy!

Tuesday there will be a final senior meeting at lunch.

Thursday will be an adjusted Thursday schedule full of activities to send off the seniors. There will be an all-senior photo on the front lawn at 11:10 a.m.. Following that, there will be senior send-off in lunch forums and finally, the day will end off with Senior Celebration.

Morgan McClease, Social Media Editor-in-Chief

Morgan McClease is a senior and is entering her 4th year on staff and 2nd year as a social media EIC. In her free time, she enjoys reading, listening to music, and watching really bad 2000s TV shows and movies. When not at school you can find her at the dance studio or working at Sweetwaters making all kinds of drinks, her personal favorite is an apple cinnamon oat milk latte. She is very excited for her final year on staff and can't wait to see what is in store for The Communicator!

Lucia Page Sander, Print Editor-in-Chief

This is Lucia's sixth semester on staff, third as an Editor-in-Chief, and first as a Print Editor-in-Chief. When she's not playing soccer for the Michigan Jaguars, competing for Lily Weightlifting, or enjoying her many responsibilities at CHS, you can find her in the Huron River, on the phone with last year's Communicator EICs, or jumping on her mini trampoline. Lucia loves surfing, watermelon, all things agriculture, and is in the process of learning how to predict the weather using clouds and enjoy long-distance running. She is anticipating a spectacular final year at Community and the helm of The Communicator.

Clara Freeth, Print Editor-in-Chief

This is Clara's third year on staff, her second as an Editor-in-Chief. When she's not in room 300 or at the Huron turf for field hockey or lacrosse practice, she can be found wandering around her neighborhood listening to one of her carefully curated playlists or living out her secret life as Hannah Montana — but don't tell anyone. This year, she is one-fourth of the print team and couldn't be more excited for what is ahead!
