As we return from spring break, CHS’s annual Forum Competition week will kick off. Each day at lunch, 10 small ducks will be hidden throughout the hallways. If you find one, bring it to Ryan Silvester to earn points for your forum. Additional events include a 3 vs. 3 basketball tournament, a talent show, a euchre tournament, an in-forum Kahoot and a forumette musical chairs competition, send two representatives per forum.

Scores will be posted on the Forum Council bulletin board on the third floor ledge every morning.

This week also marks the beginning of Quarter 4 and the Wooten Woods Jazz Trip. Study Station will also take place at the usual time.

We hope you enjoyed your break and are excited to see you back at school tomorrow!

Lucia Page Sander, Print Editor-in-Chief

This is Lucia's sixth semester on staff, third as an Editor-in-Chief, and first as a Print Editor-in-Chief. When she's not playing soccer for the Michigan Jaguars, competing for Lily Weightlifting, or enjoying her many responsibilities at CHS, you can find her in the Huron River, on the phone with last year's Communicator EICs, or jumping on her mini trampoline. Lucia loves surfing, watermelon, all things agriculture, and is in the process of learning how to predict the weather using clouds and enjoy long-distance running. She is anticipating a spectacular final year at Community and the helm of The Communicator.

Morgan McClease, Social Media Editor-in-Chief

Morgan McClease is a senior and is entering her 4th year on staff and 2nd year as a social media EIC. In her free time, she enjoys reading, listening to music, and watching really bad 2000s TV shows and movies. When not at school you can find her at the dance studio or working at Sweetwaters making all kinds of drinks, her personal favorite is an apple cinnamon oat milk latte. She is very excited for her final year on staff and can't wait to see what is in store for The Communicator!

Clara Freeth, Print Editor-in-Chief

This is Clara's third year on staff, her second as an Editor-in-Chief. When she's not in room 300 or at the Huron turf for field hockey or lacrosse practice, she can be found wandering around her neighborhood listening to one of her carefully curated playlists or living out her secret life as Hannah Montana — but don't tell anyone. This year, she is one-fourth of the print team and couldn't be more excited for what is ahead!
