Communicator Coverage of AAPS School Board Happenings

Wednesday’s meeting is set to discuss debt incurred by AAPS following the COVID-19 pandemic

Next Thursday, April 11, several Communicator journalists will attend the AAPS board meeting. The event will cover the delicate issue of the debt incurred by AAPS following the pandemic.

At a time of uncertainty across the district, The Communicator is aiming to demystify the causes of the debt and how AAPS plans to resolve the issue. We will be providing a timeline of the event to keep the community informed.

Amelia Sandstrom, New Staff Mentor

Amelia is a sophomore at Community High School, and this is her second semester on staff. While she loves to write and pursue academics overall, Amelia also has many interests outside of school. She has performed in many musicals and plays and is a passionate soccer player. When Amelia isn't staying busy with various projects, she likes to decompress with music from artists like Big Thief and Arcade Fire and hang out with her friends.

Fina Kutcher, A&E Editor

Serafina Kutcher is a senior at CHS, and she is in her 5th semester on staff. When she isn’t busy with schoolwork, she can usually be found listening to music, hanging out with friends, or baking. She also loves dancing, and spends time almost every day at the studio practicing and rehearsing. She is stoked to be spending another incredible semester on the Communicator staff!
