When block one journalism students flocked towards The Farmers Market, Stephanie Willette, from Two Tracks Acres, was spotted amongst the multiple sellers. The Two Tracks Acres set-up included a wide variety of mushrooms, celery and more.
Stephanie Willette’s inspiration for creating her own farm first grew at Tantré Farm. Willette’s idea grew when interning at Tantré Farm, to the point that they helped sponsor Two Tracks Acres. Two Tracks Acres now grows certified organic vegetables and cut flowers and spans 10 acres of land in the Grass Lake region of Michigan.
“I love the creativity,” Willette said. “I love being able to wake up and have every day be different. I love knowing whatever I put into it is what I’m going to get out of it. Being able to serve that to my customers, and then just having people appreciate it, and just the community around food that really develops.”
Whether it be Shitake mushrooms or great service, Two Tracks Acres is a beautiful farm, serving delicious produce. You can find them at Howell Farmers Market on Sundays and Ann Arbor Farmers Market on Saturdays and Wednesdays.
