They brought her luck before going up stage for CET’s “A Midsummer Nights’ Dream.” “The best part of doing midsummer is when I finally get to put the suspenders on and show off, ” Galvin said. “Gotta test them out before each show so I’m ready for some shenanigans.”

Soul Food Wednesday is a tradition at CHS that Black Student Union(BSU) conducts. For Milo Varnum, this was his first Soul Food Wednesday at CHS. "It was so interesting and cool experience," Varnum said. "The food was awesome and the people serving it were super fun and helpful. Overall, a wonderful experience and I will definitely be back."

Claire Lewis and Milly Sandstrom walk downtown during Midnight Madness after seeing a production of "The Men of Sherwood" performed by The Penny Seats Theater Company. Students in CET went to watch this one-act performance at Cahoots in Ann Arbor and thought the show was incredible. "For a show that's set in such a small space to be so captivating takes amazing acting and directing," Sandstrom said. "I could feel the connection between the actors and the show was just overall really well done."

Lina Bailey, a senior at CHS, is registering for the last time. She has been a member of mock trial for every year of her high school career and has taken it as a class multiple times. After all her hard work, she now is currently a team captain. "Its my last registration ever and last time registering for mock trial as a class," Bailey said. "I’ve done mock trial forever. I was pretty sad when registering for mock trial with Chloe, because I love her so much."

Split-enrolled freshman Sophia Frisinger, Morgan Chen and Conrad Marra crowd under two umbrellas as they walk into Huron High School under heavy rain. They had decided to make an "umbrella tent" early when they were waiting for the bus with seven other students, but the group was split up when they realized it was near impossible to walk in their creation.

Kaylee Gadepalli is locking in for mock trial. She was initially scared for how it would all play out, but she now feels ready to go. "I’m really excited about mock trial this year," Gadepalli said. "I was a little worried because so many talented seniors graduated, but I think we have a really good team and a shot at nationals (knock on wood)."
