Food Gatherers Fundraiser Celebration
After over a month of fundraising, CHS gathered to hear the end result of all their hard work raising money for Food Gatherers. Excitement, pride and gratitude were abundant at St Andrew’s Episcopal Church on Tuesday, Nov. 26. After hearing from various students and staff, History teacher, Robert Lavlenet, assisted by several students, announced the official total: over 85,000 dollars, nearly 180,000 meals.

Amelia is a sophomore at Community High School, and this is her second semester on staff. While she loves to write and pursue academics overall, Amelia also has many interests outside of school. She has performed in many musicals and plays and is a passionate soccer player. When Amelia isn't staying busy with various projects, she likes to decompress with music from artists like Big Thief and Arcade Fire and hang out with her friends.
