Caitlin Smith plays pin the nose on the mole for Mole Day in their 6th block science class. Smith noted that Marcy McCormick dressing up as a mole was the best part of Mole Day. "I have a math test next week, and all these things happening," Smith said. "It's pretty good to have some relaxing time and just chit chat with my friends and have a grand old time, especially because I understand the material pretty well so I didn't feel the need to have an intense study day."

Azalia Harmon is at the Huron Valley Beauty Academy in Saline, working on a roller set on a mannequin. She recently started her program at the HVBA and she's been learning so many new skills these past few weeks. "The roller sets are really hard," Harmon said. "But I think after some practice I can make them perfect."

Carol Cummings holds her homemade "No Oligarchy" sign at the No Kings protest in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Two days before, Cummings dug through her costume bin to find the tiger costume she ended up wearing for her first ever protest. "Things have gotten to the point where it's a little worrisome as to how it'll ever be repaired," Cummings said. "I have seven grandchildren and I want a better world for them."

James Dickson climbs at Planet Rock, thinking about how to finish his route. Dickson completed multiple routes before taking a break because his hands hurt. "I enjoy rock climbing because it is a great workout," Dickson said. "It works the muscles you don't normally use."

Julianne Heller, a member of CHS's choir club, sits and chats with a friend, waiting for the club to start. The club met in Craft Theater that day, to sing with a piano and sheet music. " Choir Club as been such an amazing experience so far," Heller said. "I've met so many great singers. Being able to sing fun songs with this group has really made me feel more interested in singing and choir outside of school and musicals."

Veronica Herrold competes in the balloon event on Fall Field Day. Herrold and her friend Annette Dobson had the time of their lives as they tried to not let the balloon slip during a true forum bonding moment. 
"It was just really fun to bond with everyone and actually see them participate," Herrold said. "I'm pretty sure our fourm got second to last place, but at least we didn't lose!"
