Ruby LaTarte is a junior at community high school, and this is her first year on staff. In her free time, she loves being involved in field hockey, creating art, and being out side with friend and family. She is so excited to be apart of community high journalism this year!

Pioneer Field Hockey (PFH) seniors lift up their state championship trophy. PFH has won the Field Hockey State Championship for the fourth year in a row, deeming the senior class unstoppable. “This was the best ending to my last season with Pioneer Field Hockey,” Lamb said. “There is so much love and heart within our team and I think it really shows.”

Anna Chomistek pushes through the bitter wind and the rain to honor a Pioneer field hockey team tradition: retro day. Chomistek ran with the ball, wearing a past Pioneer field hockey jersey, demonstrating all the change in progress this program has experienced. "It was really cool seeing all the different jerseys that have been used in the past." Chomistek said. "I thought it was super interesting how they've changed so much from 46 years ago."
