Zakiya Fortner is a sophomore at Community High School. This is her first year in journalism. She has lived in Ann Arbor for 12 or 13 years and before she lived in Ann Arbor she lived in Northville, Michigan. She is very proud of the friendships and bonds she has made with a small number of people and they are very important to her. Zakiya really likes to listen to music in her free time and she loves to babysit her sister's kids.
