The Ann Arbor Board of Education named Dr. Patricia Green the new Superintendent of the Ann Arbor Public Schools in a 6-1 vote on Saturday, March 5th.
Green is currently the Superintendent of the North Allegheny School District in Wexford, Pennsylvania. “It is time to pursue other opportunities and new challenges in the educational community in order to have a broader impact in the field of education,” Green wrote in a letter to North Allegheny school board President Maureen Grosheider. “I will leave North Allegheny with much affection for the entire community.”
