Field Day has been moved from the Dexter-Huron metropark on Huron River Dr. to Community High School. With the intense rain Wednesday night, there has been much flooding within the Ann Arbor area, including on Plymouth Road and South Fifth Avenue. Because of the recent flooding in Ann Arbor, Field Day, which has traditionally taken place at Delhi Park, had to be moved. According to the park, the premises in the Dexter-Huron metropark is underwater. The Huron river nearby the expanse has flooded, and it would have been impossible for Field Day to have occurred in the park.
In case of thunder and lightning on Friday, CHS staff will respond accordingly. But be prepared and dress accordingly in case of rain.
