Indiana on Top of NCAA

The University of Indiana Hoosiers are number one in all of college basketball for a good reason. The Hoosiers attack opponents with a wave of offense from every angle, and deny every passing lane and open shot on defense.

Indiana met #14 North Carolina last night, they expected a good game even a fight for the victory. In this game Indiana proved to the nation why they are the #1 team in college basketball right now. The Tar heel kept the match up fairly close for the first 15 minutes but the Hoosiers took control of the game soon after. With Indiana’s explosive offense on full display, they led by 30 points at halftime, proving to be too much for the rattled Tar Heels. Indiana’s freshman star Cody Zeller finished the game with 20 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assists, 2 steals, and not a single turn over the entire time. He acted as the captain for the Hoosiers willing his team to a glorious victory over a skilled team.

In the end what really secured the win for Indiana was it’s stifling defense. Completely overwhelming North Carolina the Tar Heels started the second half 1-for-20 from the field. The young Tar Heels were no match for a skilled and experienced Indiana team.

With this win Indiana made a statement: we are elite again. The Hoosiers have struggled in the past barely making the NCAA tournament, but they have turned things around to become a force in College Basketball.
