On March 3, the 132 lucky students who won a spot in the annual CHS lottery flooded into Craft Theater, both anxious and eager to be in an unfamiliar high school environment. They arrived promptly at 1:40 p.m. by buses from local middle schools. Restless chit-chat and uneasy smiles were shared around the theater as the CHS jazz band played and students awaited Dean Marcy Tuzinsky.

Mia is a senior at Community High and this will be her second year as a Print EIC. Most of her time is spent on InDesign, fooling around with page design or making funky vector art on Illustrator. When she's not in the journalism room, you will either find her on the tennis court 80% of the time or with her black lab, Abby, the other 20% of the time. She's always up for a challenge. Bring it on senior year :)
Oliver Lete-Straka, Journalist
Oliver Lete-Straka is in his second semester in journalism. He loves to talk to new people and try new things. Recently he has joined Pioneer's ultimate frisbee team and is excited to start new things in his senior year. He also rock climbs at Planet Rock with friends. He loves training in a fun way and getting together with his friends who are newly in college.
