Humans of Community: Ronan Laporte
“My dad acts, so I’ve always been inspired by him. That is why I started acting. I acted in elementary school and tried to do some acting in middle school. I was going to be Malcolm in “Macbeth” in sixth grade, but then Covid canceled it. Something that attracted me to Community was the theater program here. I’ve seen CET performances in the past. Even though it’s a smaller school, I’ve noticed the quality of them is equivalent to Pioneer, for example. So far, I have been enjoying CET. It’s definitely been hard work trying to learn all the lines and work on [the director’s] notes, but it has been a fun experience and I’m really glad that I have this opportunity.”
