Turning Point: Isabella Maldonado
“Ms. Wolf, please send Isabella Maldonado down to the principal’s office,” a voice came over the intercom announcing to the whole room. 28 pairs of eyes turned to me and made a low “ooooo” sound. As I walked down the cold hallway filled with an eerie light and a million thoughts ran through my head of what I could have done wrong.
“The principal is ready to see you now, dear.”
I sat in the blue chair in the room my mother never wanted me to have to be in.
“Your mother was in a car crash… but she is okay.”
